Family House will meet a real need by providing a home a away from home and support services for families of transplant patients. -- Howard Nathan
Family House is the culmination of years of planning and a result of Gift of Life Donor Program's long-time commitment to transplant families and families of donors.
"We've recognized for years that families that go through the transplant process struggle to cope with a myriad of issues, not the least of which is where they'll spend the night when a loved one is critically ill in the hospital," says Howard Nathan, President of Gift of Life Donor Program and founding board member of Family House. "Family House will meet a real need by providing a home a away from home and support services for families of transplant patients."
