VolunteerFamily House Holds First Volunteer Informational Meeting
On February 18, 2010 the Family House staff held their very first volunteer informational meeting at the Gift of Life Building.
With over 40 people in attendance, the room was filled with people eager to learn more about the Family House and how they can help. Debra Roberts, Director of Family House and Faith Cortright, Volunteer Coordinator, hosted a remarkable meeting with not only volunteer information, but trivia, a special speaker and ended with an inspiring letter from a grateful guest. A very special thank you to Ranjoo Prasad who spoke about her past experiences with transplant homes and her beloved nephew, Neelesh.
