Jackson's Mulligan on Life Annual Supports Family House

Golf outing raises more than $50,000 to help build Gift of Life Family House

Jackson's 5th Annual Mulligan on Life Golf Outing was held on May 18 at the beautiful Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, New Jersey. This annual event, sponsored by Hennion & Walsh, brings together family and friends of the Heller family to celebrate Jackson's second chance at life, raise organ donor awareness and support the Gift of Life Family House. The Hellers and Hennion & Walsh have committed to a multi-year pledge to fund a Family Entertainment Room at the Family House. This year's event raised more than $50,000 bringing them closer to that goal!

The Hellers are excited to support the Gift of Life Family House because they know first hand the critical need for such a resource in the Philadelphia area. While the Hellers were grateful to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia throughout Jackson's treatment, they believe being with other families going through the unique transplant experience would have been extremely helpful. They add, "Our needs were very specific - how to manage medication, making sure he wasn't exposed to anything that could set back his treatment. The Family House will provide a supportive environment and resources focused on the needs of transplant recipients and their families."
