The joy of volunteering
Volunteers are essential to our mission of providing a 'home away from home' to transplant families. Whether it is cooking a meal, answering the phone, sharing a laugh or shedding a tear... Volunteers are truly the heart of the house!
Guest Services
Guest Services volunteers work closely with staff by helping to answer the phones, greet families and visitors at the door, register new families, prepare guest rooms, and lend a hand with special mailings and administrative needs. Must be 18 years of age to volunteer, Teens 15-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Be a Home Cook Hero
Groups of up to 10 people are able to provide, prepare (on or off site), serve and clean up a meal for the guests staying at the Family House. This is a very rewarding opportunity and the impact of your service on our families will be seen and felt first-hand. Click here for more information.

Prepare Baked Goods for Families
To fill the Family House with delicious smells like at home, individuals or small groups, bake cookies, brownies and other treats in our kitchen. This fun activity is a great way for groups like Girl Scout troops, or school clubs to directly experience the remarkable power of volunteerism.
Host a Wish List Drive
Keeping our House stocked with basic home necessities requires a lot of donated food and supplies. Every few months, we update our wish list of needed items – food, household goods, sample size toiletries and office supplies. Click here for more information.
Host Arts & Crafts, Games, and Family Activities
Individuals or small groups are needed to organize and lead an arts and crafts project, game night or other fun activity for family members staying at the House.
