Volunteer with Gift of Life Family House!
Looking for ways to get involved? Help make a difference in the lives of our transplant patients and families by volunteering at Gift of Life Family House. Volunteers can offer their time in a variety of ways:
Be a Home Cook Hero
Groups of up to 5-10 people are able to provide, prepare (on or off site), serve and clean up a meal for 50-60 people. This is a very rewarding opportunity and the impact of your service on our families will be seen and felt first-hand. Click here for more information.
Prepare Baked Goods for Families
To fill the Family House with delicious smells like at home, individuals or small groups, bake cookies, brownies and other treats in our kitchen. This fun activity is a great way for Girl Scout troops, or school clubs, for example, to directly experience the remarkable power of volunteerism. Click here for more information.
Host Arts & Crafts, Games, and Family Activities
Individuals or small groups may organize, furnish supplies and lead a craft activity for family members staying at the House. Volunteers can also host a game event or activity such as bingo or board games. Click here for more information.
Host a Fundraiser!
Fundraisers are a FUN way to get involved and support our transplant families.
The Family House relies on our dedicated supporters! Each year critical Family House funds are raised through fundraisers to support our mission. From golf outings to bake sales to car washes, there are a countless ways you, your family, classmates and friends can fundraise for the Family House. Be creative and have fun! Family House Shuttle Drivers
Family House Shuttle volunteers help us provide free transportation to our guests, transporting them to and from local hospitals. It is a great opportunity to interact with Family House guests and relieve some of their stress, not having to navigate the city on their own. Must be 18 years of age to volunteer and have a valid driver's license. Click here to fill out a Volunteer Application.
