Travel Support

Sometimes a patient’s insurance plan can help with transportation and/or lodging costs.

If you have Medicaid, benefits will vary from state to state. Some private insurance will be able to cover these costs. Call your health insurance provider for more information on benefits available to you.

If you need to fly to your transplant center, there are a few organizations that might be able to help. Please note that none of these services provide emergency flights. All flights must be coordinated ahead of time.
